2024 Announcement

Representative Michael J. Soter is pleased to announce his intent to run for reelection as State Representative in the 8th Worcester District. First elected in 2018, Representative Soter has worked diligently to support the hardworking people of Bellingham, Blackstone, Medway, Millville, and Uxbridge. In his third term on Beacon Hill, the Bellingham Republican serves as the Ranking Minority on both the Joint Committee on Financial Services and Joint Committee on Revenue.

Representative Michael J. Soter invites supporters to join him and a host committee of locally elected officials and community leaders on Saturday, September 9th, for an End-Of-Summer Pig Roast and Campaign for Re-Election Kickoff. Consistent with the Representative’s dedication to serving the 8th Worcester District, the Office of State Representative Michael J. Soter is also excited to announce a series of updates to keep constituents informed and engaged with their government.

 

1.)   The Beacon Hill Brief — A quarterly publication from the desk of State Representative Michael J. Soter, the Beacon Hill Brief will seek to provide constituents of the 8th Worcester District and any engaged Massachusetts citizen an opportunity to understand the proceedings of Beacon Hill. 

 

2.)   Updated Website Constituent Form — To mitigate potential discrepancies between varying constituent service requests, an updated website form can be found at www.MikeSoter.com/contact. Constituents are encouraged to utilize this form for any need that they may have.

 

3.)   District Town Halls — Over the following few months, the Office of Representative Michael J. Soter will hold community town calls with local elected officials to foster face-to-face communication between people and their government. A schedule of these town halls is to come.
